Job Description
Scope AR seeks an AI Test Automation Developer to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role is a key technical position requiring a deep, hands-on application of AI principles—both for testing AI-driven features and for leveraging AI techniques to develop sophisticated, next-generation test automation frameworks themselves. The ideal candidate will be a highly capable problem-solver with a background in software engineering and a passion for driving quality with cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing automated testing frameworks that leverage AI techniques and tools to more effectively test AI-driven functionality on the WorkLink AR platform.
- Developing comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI-driven features.
- Building and maintaining features, including integrations with external services for data and model validation.
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and security of test automation code and reporting results effectively.
- Continually researching and implementing best practices in AI testing and development.
Requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in developing test automation for software, as well as experience using AI-driven coding tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, etc.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to identifying edge cases and bugs in complex systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Typescript, React, and Cypress. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Curiosity: Strong desire and commitment to learning the latest and greatest in tools and technology, enabling continuous improvement in efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with C# development.
- Familiarity with Mixed Reality (MR) technologies and platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud computing services, specifically Azure and AWS.
