Founded in 2011, Retailers Association's Skill Council of India operates in Edtech offering skill development and certification services for the retail industry in India. RASCI serves as the National Occupational Standards setting body and is involved in regulating assessments and providing certifications. The council collaborates with governmental bodies such as the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the National Skills Development Corporation to implement India's Skill Policy. RASCI is also authorised to jointly certify qualifications up to the Post Graduation Level with established educational bodies.
