What Project Baala does

Founded in 2016, Project Baala operates in Clean Tech offering innovative menstrual health solutions primarily in rural India, Nepal, Ghana, and Tanzania. The organisation focuses on increasing access and affordability of menstrual products while addressing environmental pollution linked to non-biodegradable waste and combating menstrual myths. Over six years, Baala has directly benefited more than 1,000,000 women and girls and has distributed over 3 million reusable sanitary napkins, preventing 150 million non-biodegradable pads from reaching landfills. The company conducts workshops to remodel behaviours related to menstrual health, integrating technology and research into their solutions. Baala's efforts aim to empower women through awareness and sustainable practices.
