What Ola does
Founded in 2010, Ola is a travel services booking platform. Initially launched as a cab aggregator for ride hailing, the unicorn expanded its offerings to include intercity travel, car rentals and ride hailing with bike, auto-rickshaw services, and electric vehicles. In 2024, Ola ventured into the rapid delivery market, piloting 10-minute grocery and food delivery services in Bengaluru. With a revenue of Rs 59.19 Cr in FY21, Ola competes with companies including Rapido, Cityflo and Meru Cabs.
