What Mimaansa does
Founded in 2012, Mimaansa operates in the Edtech sector offering support for children with learning disabilities in under-resourced municipal schools. The organisation works towards enhancing the capacity of these schools to accommodate students with learning disabilities in mainstream classrooms, with a focus on training teachers and developing comprehensive programmes for students. Currently engaged with six schools in Thane District, Mimaansa has reached over 1300 students and trained 60 municipal school teachers. The implementation of their programme has led to an expansion into two more schools, aiming to address the needs of learning-disabled students through early intervention and a structured response model. Mimaansa's initiatives align with the inclusive education mandates of the Right to Education Act.
