Founding Engineer
at Meticulate — Making it easy for B2B sales teams to send stellar outbound
What the role involves
We’re hiring a second Founding Engineer! You’ll be team member #5, working closely with co-founders Joseph + Wilbur and our other Founding Engineers on the engineering team and you’ll have significant ownership over the parts of the product you want to cover. As an early engineer, you will be all over the codebase, from spinning up infra to placing pixels on the frontend. We think we’ll be the strongest team you've ever been a part of - if you're a killer engineer, would love to chat!

Some of the open technical problems that we could use your help with:
- Creating “non-traditional” data streams on companies and people / deriving useful structured data from unstructured text
- A system that learns preferences from sparse customer product interactions (overrides, upvotes/downvotes) and automatically iterates towards better messaging
- Building robust infrastructure for sending outbound messages that can scale to the level that our customers operate at (many thousands / day, 100k’s of LLM calls/day)
- Figuring out how our outreach engine can use non-traditional selling channels (SMS, direct mail) in addition to emails & phone calls to give our customers a competitive advantage

Python, React (Typescript), Postgres, MongoDB, AWS, + a lot of LLM pipeline stuff that we can chat about
