Integrations Engineer

hotglue is a developer tool that helps teams launch product integrations through credential management and ETL job orchestration. Our customers range from small AI startups to large enterprises like Instructure, SpotOn, and Chargebee. • About the role
• We’re looking for an Integrations Engineer to:

• Build and maintain open source integrations across our large library
• Design great abstractions to scale our SDKs across our library
• Improve our DevOps tooling

• This role involves a lot of context switching, collaboration, and fast-paced work. The integrations team regularly goes from customer request to production feature within a couple hours. If that pace excites you, please apply.
• The Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of experience working with Python and related libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, etc.
• Strong written communication skills and can explain complex technical concepts to non-engineers.
• Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and ambiguous environment.
• Can empathize with the challenges of integrations and has interest in developer-focused products.

• Tech Stack
• The vast majority of our integrations are written with Python; however engineers work with a variety of different systems every day. In the span of a week you might have to learn and work with:

• Relational Databases
• Accounting systems like Quickbooks, Netsuite, and Dynamics BC
• Messaging systems like Kafka, Azure Queue Storage, and SQS

• We don’t expect you to know about all these systems going into the role. What we do expect is that you aren’t afraid to learn things quickly and get your hands dirty.
