What Emtac does
Founded in 2014, Emtac operates in Advanced Hardware & Technology offering electrical, electronic, mechanical assessments, and certifications. The company was established as a specialised test lab for physical security products in Hyderabad and has since expanded its capabilities to include testing for electrical and electronic products. Emtac has developed its own certification scheme, achieving ISO 17065 accreditation as a product certification body. Currently, the laboratory occupies over 14,000 sq ft of space and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vimta Labs Limited in March 2020.
