The role

At Eight Sleep, we believe our people and culture are our secret sauce. In order to continue growing our world-class team, we’re looking for a Recruiter who will lead the charge in identifying, evaluating, and hiring high-quality candidates across a diverse range of disciplines within the company. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop tailored recruitment strategies, and create a seamless, positive candidate experience. Your work will directly impact the quality of talent we bring on board and help accelerate the development of our product.

This individual should think of hiring like a product, optimizing for a top-notch “customer” experience that sources, attracts, and develops the best talent across the globe while also optimizing internal processes by implementing the latest AI-powered tools and systems. This role is a perfect fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a significant impact by helping build a diverse, high-performing team.

Candidates must be based out of NYC or SF and able to be in office 5 days/week.

How you’ll contribute

Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and skill requirements

Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates

Manage full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding

Utilize a variety of sourcing tools (LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, niche job boards, etc.) to find top talent

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs

Conduct in-depth screenings (phone screens and in-person/virtual interviews) to assess candidates’ skills and cultural fit

Provide an exceptional candidate experience, guiding them through the process and maintaining regular communication

Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding processes for new hires

Manage recruitment metrics, analyze data, and continuously improve processes
